Want to see more Finland? Want to learn something new about Finland? Finland Camp is for asylumseekers and
volunteers who work among them. Feel Finland with us in Suomi -leiri!
Welcome to experience the finnish nature! |
Suomi -leiri – or
”Finland Camp” in english – is organised by finnish NGO
”International Camp Partnership”. We want to respond to the needs
of asylumseekers who have come to Finland. Sitting and waiting for a
asylum decision is very stressing. Instead of that, camping offers
meaningful activities and gives something new to think about.
Finland Camp is all about
Finland, as the name tells. We finns feel ourselves privileged while
travelling around the world. We have many things that other countries
do not have. For example, anyone has right to enjoy the clean and
variable nature that arounds us everywhere. Comprehensive education
system is available for every citizen. Infrastructure is planned for
the use of ordinary people – not for just some privileged.
We consider that one basic
reason for this welfare is our christian heritage. Not only
worshipping God but also loving our neighbours. We want to give the
newcomers a chance to get to know more about it.
