Finally we are able to tell news about our camp. Situation has changed concerning first camps in 29.6. - 6.7. and 7.7. - 13.7. Instead of camps we have a team-gathering in the same place. So, no camps in Piikkiö in 29.6. - 6.7. and 7.7. - 13.7.!
Team-gathering in Piikkiö (Turku) in 8-10.7.
One important idea of the cancelled camps was team building for camps that will be held later in Kallioniemi, Laukaa. That is still needed, we need to get know each other better. So welcome everyone who is ready to work as volunteer in a international team. The place is not far from Turku. We can pick you up from there.Welcome to join us in camp team!
We are having the team-gathering in 8-10.7. and actual camps from 26th of July until 13th of August. We need volunteer workers! The camp idea is to show that everyone is loved and special. This is done by overall planning, everything is done for the idea. We expect you- to have an attitude of servant towards other members of the team
- to be flexible since there will be people from different cultures and nationalities
- to be willing to co-operate with other people
- to be ready to tolerate uncertainty and incompleteness (in some cases we may have to build the frames to work in)
- to accept that camp has practices and values that come from the Bible. Some practices may differ from traditional practices of christian churches
